Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal, opened the SPP Manufacturing Facility at Coleford in December 1987. The opening ceremony marked the completion of a £4 million investment programme by SPP in the site.

Today, the Princess Royal, returns to mark the celebration of SPP Pumps' 25 years at Coleford. Growing from strength to strength, SPP's total sales have increased from £15 million in 1987 to £70 million in 2011 with an expanding staff topping 170 employees last year.

SPP Pumps’ 25th Anniversary at Coleford is testament to its resilience and pioneering approach and forms the solid foundation for the world pump specialist that SPP continues to be.
